ประวัติความเป็นมาของ LEGOLAND^® Parks

เลโก้แลนด์ แห่งแรกเปิดขึ้นเมื่อปี 1968 ที่เมือง Billund ประเทศเดนมาร์ก ในปี 1999 สร้างที่ Windsor ประเทศอังกฤษ และ ที่เมือง Carlsbad รัฐแคริฟอเนีย ต่อมาในปี 2002 สร้างที่ Deutschland เป็นลำดับที่ 4

ในปี 2005 เลโก้แลนด์ทั้ง 4 แห่ง อยู่ในการบริหารดูแลจาก Merlin Entertainments Group ที่ดูแลสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวอื่นๆอีก เช่น Sea Life Centres, Dungeons, และ Earth Explorer

ในปี 2011 เลโก้แลนด์เปิดขึ้นที่ Florida และ ในปี 2012 เลโก้แลนด์ได้เปิดในเอเชียเป็นแห่งแรกที่ เลโก้แลนด์มาเลเซีย และเป็นลำดับที่ 6

Junior Driving School Single pedal cars give smaller children the LEGOLAND® Driving School experience. Age: 3 - 5 years only		LEGOLAND® Express See all the sights of the park aboard a life size LEGO® train. Minimum age: 8 years old (0-7 years old if accompanied by an adult)		Driving School Where else can children get their own driver's licence? Driving School offers a unique chance to drive a true-to-life traffic circuit, with the reward of a LEGOLAND® driver's licence at the end. Age: 6 - 13 years only

Wat Arun, Thailand Wat Arun is a Buddhist Temple on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Its name means “Temple of Dawn”. It was built in the 19th century, and it is decorated with seashells and pieces of porcelain used as ballast in boats from China.		Singapore Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a Southeast Asian city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of the equator. An island country made up of 63 islands, it is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to its north and from Indonesia's Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to its south. The country is highly urbanised with very little primary rainforest remaining, although more land is being created for development through land reclamation.		The Forbidden City and Great Wall, China The Forbidden City was the emperor’s palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties – that’s more than 500 years! The entire palace has more than 980 buildings and covers 720,000 square meters! The Great Wall of China was begun in the 5th century, and added to through the 16th century. The entire wall stretches 8,852 kilometres!
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Kuala Lumpur is the federal capital and most populous city in Malaysia. The city covers an area of 243 km2 (94 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 1.6 million as of 2012. Greater Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.2 million. It is among the fastest growing metropolitan regions in the country, in terms of population and economy.		Hoi An, Vietnam Hoi An is a city in Vietnam on the coast of the South China Sea. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the 16th and 17th centuries, it was a major trading town for Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and Indian merchants. In modern times, tourists come to see the historic buildings, and visit the shops and restaurants along the water.		Purah Tanah Lot, Indonesia This beautiful temple is built on a rock formation on the coast of Bali, Indonesia. It can only be reached at low tide – at high tide, it is an island! A special festival is held at the temple every 210 days.
Angkor Wat, Cambodia Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Angkor, Cambodia. It was built by King Suryavarnam II in the 21st century. By area, it is the largest religious building in the world!		Karaweik Hall, Myanmar Karaweik Hall is a gigantic barge on the Shore of Kandawgyi Lake in Yangon, Myanmar. It was inspired by ancient royal barges; the word “Karaweik” comes from the name of a mythical bird. Inside is a large restaurant where guests can see traditional crafts and dances.		Patuxai, Laos Patuxai is a monument to victory in the center of Vientiane, Laos. It was built between 1957 and 1968. It is made of cement that was originally meant for building an airport!
Taj Mahal, India The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal emperor Shah jahan in memory of wife. It is considered a masterpeiece of Mughal architecture. It took thousands of workers more than twenty years to build!		Brunei This beautiful royal mosque is located in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei. It’s largest dome is covered in pure gold.		Bolinao, Philippines Bolinao is a thriving fishing town on the Coast of Luzon Island in the Philippines. In the town centre is the Church of St. James the Great, built in 1609. Visitors come to Bolinao to see the colorful fishing boats and visit the beautiful beaches nearby.
